The Legal Landscape And
How It Will Change Everything
The event will be moderated by senior intellectual property attorney, Aleksandra King, of Hogan Lovells, and will include several parts, beginning with an introductory presentation by Ira Schaefer and Aleksandra King, Hogan Lovells, who advise clients on intellectual property relating to Blockchain technology. Ira will explain the technology behind Blockchains and Aleksandra will focus on the emerging patent landscape relating to it. Subsequently, there will be two panels of experts. The first panel will speak about the current and potential utility of Blockchain technology to solve a myriad of problems across a wide range of industries such as real estate, life sciences, finance and others. The second panel will focus on a wide range of legal issues on Blockchain technology, including issues relating to patentability, implementing smart contracts, trademark usage, among others.
