The NJIPLA is reviving its Dinner Speaker Series.  This Series will offer dinners at a local NJ restaurant, a presentation on a relevant IP topic and a single CLE credit.  NJIPLA, seeking to bring its members together and provide networking opportunities, will provide these events at-cost.

Our first 2019 event will be on Tuesday, April 30th.  Ken Sonnenfeld (King & Spalding) will present “Digging Into the Weeds of the Supreme Court’s Funk Brothers Case to Dig Out of 101 Ineligibility.”  The presentation will delve into the legal and technological issues the Supreme Court’s Funk Brothers decision and explore whether the USPTO’s current practice of relying on the Funk Brothers case to reject patent claims to purified natural products is proper.
